The Casa OM project carried out by Sferico Architetti is an interesting renovation of a 19th century farmhouse divided up into several residential units in the old town centre of Pecetto Torinese. The aim of the project was to retain the original beauty of the historic building while highlighting structural aspects such as the vaults and the old brick and stone walls and incorporating distinctive elements of contemporary design. The result is a stylish blend of ancient and modern. The staircases are envisaged as modern furnishing objects, while the choice of materials reflects a renovation philosophy that brings together past and present with minimalist elegance. The floor covering chosen for the living area is ABK’s Crossroad Chalk collection, a material that blends in perfectly with the mood of the project. Inspired by the world of plaster, the collection stands out for its subtle three-dimensional surface reproducing the material's typical particle size. The soft, neutral colours create a subtle, unobtrusive backdrop that sets off the interior design choices to perfection.
