ABK chooses Interceramic for exclusive distribution in China
ABK, a brand of ABK Group, one of the top 10 players in the Italian ceramics industry, has signed a strategic partnership agreement with ICC (Interceramic in China) regarding the exclusive distribution of its products in the Chinese market. ICC, a subsidiary of the North American company Interceramic which has been operating in China since 2010, proposes an innovative design concept and cutting-edge marketing strategies that have revolutionised the distribution of tiles and large slabs in the country.
Although distribution had been scheduled to begin in early 2020, it was delayed by the lockdown prompted by the COVID-19 emergency, which first affected China and then spread to the rest of the world. However, the delay was seen as an opportunity to complete the installation of 26 showrooms which are now open to the public. ICC plans to complete another 24 stores by the end of the summer and reach a total of at least 100 by the end of the first quarter of 2021, mostly in the country's largest cities.
